ACTING I |
-Explore the Theatre through improvisation, acting exercises, and scene study. Learn how to breathe and warm up. Students entering this course will build their techniques and skills in dramatic theatre. This class teaches technique in voice, character, body movement, and dialogue development. |

ACTING II |
-Review basic acting techniques and move on to in-depth acting exercises, character analysis, scene study, and monologue preparation. Emphasis is placed on working from a foundation of honesty and creativity. |

ACTING III |
-This course will teach more advanced techniques and performing skills. Understanding and improvising what goes on offstage in a scene, a phone call or argument that is never explained in the script. This class teaches technique in voice, character, comedic interpretation, and theatre audition. |

ACTING IV |
-This class is for advanced performers seeking to perfect theater skills and awareness. Experience intensive study of technique, monologue, and scene work through the use of classic plays. |

AUDITION WORKSHOP I |
-The audition workshop will prepare students for various types of auditions. Students will compile resumes, learn the pros an cons of head shots, learn cold-reading, improv techniques, and audition etiquette. Auditions begin the moment you walk through the door…once you know this, auditions will become less intimidating. |

AUDITION WORKSHOP II |
-This intensive workshop address choosing the right monologue to show your talents, how to act a song, knowing the plays and musicals your audition pieces come from, working through monologues to find the beats and characters. |

CAMERA ACTING |
-Act on-camera and get a taste of the exciting world of film acting. We will introduce you to the subtle differences between acting for the stage and for the screen. Use your existing talents and training with modifications to enhance your career options. |

CIRCUS ARTS |
-The circus comes to town with the Circus Arts class. Learn juggling, basic tumbling, falls, and slapstick techniques. Design your own personal clown makeup. |

COMEDY |
-Comedy is all about the timing and primal instinct. Through the use of proven comic skits, students will perfect their comic delivery while also working through character development. You’ll learn to ask for the “butter” instead of asking for the laugh! |

COMMEDIA DELL’ARTE |
-Explore this style of theatre as it is basis of everything of everything we do. Learn the characters. Work on body posture of stock characters. Use masks to further explore and discover. |

DESIGN |
-Learn the basics of designing for the theatre, must have taken Stage Craft I and II. Breaking down the script, doing research, and creating sketches or models to show your design. Work as an assistant designer on a DragonFly show for hands on experience. |

DIALECTS |
-Choose a monologue and learn how different dialects affect it. Understand the dialect by learning the sounds of each symbol and translating it to each dialect through standard International Phonetic Association techniques. Learn how the environment influences the dialect while developing a character. |

DIRECTING I |
-Learn how to break down a script see what is required. Locate the “beats”, define character development, and prepare for auditions. How you would design the show? Work in class on small projects. |

DIRECTING II |
-How do you choose a play or musical to direct. Learn how to hold an audition. Develop your vision of the show. Direct a one-act play using actors from class. |

FAIRYTALES COME ALIVE |
-Inspired by a different fairy tale every session, this fun class has movement, music and sometimes...even monsters! Work on developing your owns scripts. |

IMPROV |
-Through the use of theatre games and learning to take risks in a safe environment, students develop the ability to tell stories collaboratively and work in the moment. Learn tools for improving verbal expression, enhancing listening skills, building body awareness, and boosting self-confidence. |

INTRO TO ACTING |
-Learn basic acting techniques, tips, and terms. The fun format of this class introduces students to warm-ups, stage directions, theater etiquette, learning lines, creating a character, and more. Learn the history of theatre while actually acting in scenes. |

MAKEUP I |
-Find your skin tone so you will know what makeup to use. Learn basic makeup techniques including corrective makeup for small and large spaces. Using a photo of yourself and computer software, work to develop a character based on your actual face. Learn how to apply old age makeup. |
|
MAKEUP II |
-Develop a character from a specific play. This includes doing visual research. Learn techniques for applying wax putty and latex. Make a cast of your face for designing makeup effects. |
|
MAKEUP III |
-Advanced makeup, must have taken Makeup I and II. Learn how to create cuts and wounds. Learn proper techniques for applying and removing blood, latex, crepe hair, bald cap and wigs. |
|
MIME |
-Learn the 20 movements that are the basis for all actions. Work with the “box” and “walls.” Through specific scenarios work with masks, make a larva mask, and learn mask movement. Work on specific mask scenes using music and actual scenarios. |
|
MONOLOGUE |
-Develop intensive focus on monologue work. One monologue per student will be dissected and analyzed. Ideal preparation for auditions. |
|
MORGUES |
-What is a morgue? This is a great research and character development technique. Learn to organize photos in specific categories and maintain your files throughout your career. |
|
MUSIC AND MOVEMENT |
-Learn to free up your inner creativity. Through a combination of musical inspirations, learn how to move to different beats and rhythms without feeling self-conscience. Recognize how your body moves using examples from animals, bugs, trees, and people at different ages. |
|
PRACTICUM |
-Geared exclusively toward a finished production, participation in this class guarantees the student a role in the Company Production – either onstage or offstage. |
|
PRIVATE COACHING |
-One-on-one or small group study. Hone skills for performances or auditions. Provides the intensity that only comes with one-on-one interaction. Hours to be arranged. |
|
PUBLIC SPEAKING |
- Learn tools that help you not only get your point across, but also improve your technique while staying calm through presentations. Gain confidence and insight into addressing everything from large groups to small gatherings. Prepares you for auditions, interviews, and giving that special toast at a party. |

PUPPETRY I |
-Explore the history of puppets in theatre. Learn to make puppets. All sizes of puppets will be used from finger to hand puppets with moving mouths. |
|
PUPPETRY II |
-Learn to understand both the movement and technique of puppets. How do you make a puppet come alive? We will work with stuffed animals before moving on to actual puppets. Learn different puppet techniques from hiding in a set to standing with your puppet on stage. |

SCENE STUDY |
-Develop intensive focus on scene work. One scene per two students will be dissected and analyzed. Ideal preparation for auditions. |

SHAKESPEARE |
| -Introduces students to the themes and language of Shakespeare's anthology. An in-depth study of scenes from "Midsummer Night's Dream" helps students to understand the historical significance of the play while relating the script to current trends of today. This will show the timelessness of Shakespeare and his relevance to modern audiences. |

SINGING |
-Learn how to listen to the piano. Work on correct singing techniques and working with individual voices. Find a good piece of music for your voice. Learn to work with a pianist or recordings. Learn how to act a song, and how to work with a singing coach. |

STAGE COMBAT I |
-Unarmed fighting for the stage. This includes hitting, kicking, slapping, and punching. Learn where to send the energy of your motion to avoid injury. Techniques will include everything from clowning to violence. Work with various scenarios in class and develop fights to fit them. All work will be done under the supervision of a certified instructor. |

STAGE COMBAT II |
-Armed fighting for the stage, must have taken Stage Combat I. We will start with pots and pans before moving on to knifes. Next will be swords, both fencing and broadswords. All work will be done with theatrical props and under the supervision of a certified instructor. |

STAGECRAFT I |
-Join us in the fascinating world of technical theater and design. Learn the basics of scenery, costumes, lighting, sound, special effects and more. Become acquainted with everything you ever wanted to know about working the magic behind the curtain. |

STAGECRAFT II |
-Expand your skills in technical theatre. Learn scenic painting, wood working techniques and much, much more! Gain more in-depth knowledge in one area of your specific interest. Work on the crew of a DragonFly show for hands on experience. |

-Learn what is required of a stage manager. What you need to prepare for rehearsals and what should be in your show book. Organize your book and learn |

-Focus on your body as an instrument. Learn techniques to gesture, define postures, and expressions. Learn how to develop a whole character with just your body. |
